Vegetable Notes -

Updated 6/25/17 - We have had a busy spring.  Crops are looking really nice for this time of year in the field.  We are starting to pick a few tomatoes, patch really looks good so expect a good crop of tomatoes.  Cucumbers, peppers and yellow squash are just starting to mature.  I have picked up two loads of peaches from Campbell, MO.  Expect a good peach year, the last load I picked up we nice size and very good flavor.  I am expecting to have cantaloupe and watermelons from southern Missouri before the 4th of July.

We received some much needed rains last week, so from a moisture standpoint things are looking good.  Sweet corn and green beans will be coming in soon.

I will try to update this as often as possible, but sometimes we do not get out of the fields until way past dark!  Plus with a lot of driving to the Missouri bootheel a couple times a week, getting harder to get on the computer.
