Vegetable Notes (updated 6-30-16)-

We have received some much needed rain last week.  Our tomatoes are starting to come in.  Sweet Corn is being picked everyday for our stand.  A lot of the summer crops are starting to come in - cucumbers, zucchini, green beans, black berries, beets.

We pulled the "Stuckmeyer Sweets" onions this week.  Looks like a nice crop.  We have them hanging in the barn to cure.  They should be available in our market in about a week.

I picked up loads of watermelons, cantaloupes and peaches from Campbell, Missouri.  Looks like a good crop for all of these.

Business at our farmers markets on Saturdays at both Arnold and Fenton have been picking up.  So if you want to buy homegrown local produce, Stuckmeyer's produce is always available 7 days a week at our market on the farm.

We had so many onions last year will we ran out of space to hang onions, we ended up with  overflow in shed hanging them with a ladder! (notice roll bar of tractor)
